You'll also contribute to establishing a robust supply chain so that we can continually produce the vehicles our customers want. In this position... The Supply Chain exteriors team is currently seeking a Purchasing Manager for the Wipers commodity. Seeking a candidate who embodies the Ford Truths, is self-motivated to deliver objectives, demonstrates integrity and willingness to collaborate with cross-functional partners, functions well in dynamic environments where inputs are subject to change, and can create/maintain strong interpersonal relationships. The Manager is directly responsible for windshield wipers as a Global Lead and Commodity Specialist. Lead for complex resourcing of multiple programs, which requires close cross-functional collaboration to resolve roadblocks in real time. Directly responsible for on-time sourcing and cost management for the wipers commodity. Engage with cross-functional team to deliver strong quality and launch readiness across all programs. Deliver a robust and comprehensive Global Commodity Business Plan that addresses key future strategic considerations such as supplier diversification, quality, and cost planning.
