Job Description

Parts Manager oversees a company's parts department, ensuring an adequate and organized inventory of parts to support operations, repairs, and customer service
Responsibilities Inventory Management:
Maintaining appropriate stock levels for parts, monitoring inventory reports, and adjusting stock as needed to avoid shortages or obsolescence.
Procurement & Supplier Relations:
Ordering parts, negotiating with suppliers for pricing and delivery, and managing relationships with them.
Staff Management:
Hiring, training, scheduling, and motivating a team of parts specialists.
Customer Service:
Assisting customers in finding and purchasing the parts they need, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Sales & Merchandising:
Utilizing sales skills to increase revenue by selling parts to customers.
Logistics & Distribution:
Overseeing the accurate and efficient processing and shipping of parts.
Reporting & Analysis:
Creating and tracking sales and inventory reports for management to analyze performance and optimize operations.
Compliance:
Adhering to company policies, procedures, and safety and environmental protocols. • Qualifications Proven experience as a Parts Manager or similar role in the automotive industry. Strong knowledge of supply chain management and inventory control. Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on supplier relationships. Familiarity with automotive service processes and dealership operations. Ability to lead a team effectively while promoting a positive work environment. Proficient in using ERP systems for inventory management. Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making. Exceptional customer service skills.

$50,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
