Job Description

Lead the build of Precision global logistics program in Kalamazoo. In this role, you will design and scale a world-class logistics network that ensures the compliant, reliable, and timely movement of samples and supplies worldwide. You will establish courier partnerships, define global standards, and implement the systems and processes that enable high-quality execution across diverse markets. Responsibilities Establish and manage global and regional courier partners; set SLAs, rates, and performance scorecards; lead regular reviews and corrective actions. Author and deploy shipment SOPs (inbound/outbound, inter-site, packaging and temperature control, exception handling). Own import/export permits and documentation (HS codes, Incoterms, valuation), and oversee customs brokers; resolve customs holds. Source and manage in-market distributors for testing supplies; define lead times and service levels. Define logistics flows for PAH, including labeling, duties and taxes, tracking, and customer notifications. Implement shipment visibility and exception management; communicate delays and resolutions. Drive continuous improvement in cost, on-time delivery (OTD), and cycle time; report monthly performance metrics. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, international business or related field 7+ years of experience in global logistics/transportation, including international parcel/express and customs brokerage. Expertise in trade compliance (HS classification, valuation, Incoterms); strong vendor negotiation and SLA management skills. Experience authoring SOPs and delivering training; data-driven with KPI dashboard ownership.
Preferred:
IATA DG, IMDG, and 49 CFR HAZMAT certifications; life sciences or biological sample logistics experience.
