The Impact You'll Make As a Logistics Supervisor, you'll be the operational heartbeat of our Car Hauling and Driveaway activities during your assigned shift. You'll coordinate daily runs, oversee safety compliance, and ensure every vehicle movement is executed with accuracy and care. When the General Manager is unavailable, you'll step in to lead—keeping operations running smoothly and customers satisfied. What You'll Do Planning & Coordination Work closely with the VASCOR team and General Manager to plan daily Car Hauler and Driveaway runs. Coordinate with customers, responding promptly to inquiries and adjusting plans as needed. Review yard inventories, move orders, and previous shift reports to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Attend daily Operations Meetings to align with all teams on customer support needs. Ensure all Car Hauler and Driveaway staff follow safety protocols, including wearing safety vests. Production & Oversight Track and monitor van and truck vehicle movements throughout your shift. Audit operations to ensure safe traffic flow and accurate recordkeeping. Redirect and redispatch trucks and vans as needed based on vehicle availability or customer direction. Monitor DOT Hours of Service (HOS) compliance for Car Haulers. Audit Outgate Records against Driveaway/VASCOR Transport scans for accuracy. Oversee schedules and routes to ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries. Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with transportation regulations. What You'll Bring Proven experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet operations—supervisory experience preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities. Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation safety standards. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with multiple teams and partners. A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Essential Skills and Experience:
Education 4-year college degree or 4 years' management experience. Training Demonstrated "expert" level usage of MS Office products including Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Understanding and experience with Total Quality management Skills Teamwork, decision-making, problem-solving, communication, customer focus, confidentiality, planning, organizing, process management, tolerance of ambiguity, and time management. Analytical skills The ability to determine trends and anomalies. Experience Successful Team Leader or equivalent experience in a prior position. Experience with meeting valid external customer requirements, supervisory/managerial capabilities, process management, and PC skills. 3+ years of experience in the Trucking/Transportation management field
