JOB DESCRIPTION
Basic Functions:
Participates in projects that influence the direction of the operation Manages multiple and competing demands in the area of functional responsibility and the organization Insures compliance to formal policies and procedures. Monitors trends and establishes actions for improvement. Provides supervision for positions within the SCM Coordinator job category Manage 3 Material Supervisor and 60 hourly employees
Responsibilities:
Production Control Planning & Scheduling Inventory Management Customer Performance criteria / scores Supplier Management Budgeting Finance Continuous Improvement Material Flow and Problem Solving Manages multiple SCM roles and responsibilities May orient, train, assign, and verify the work of fellow employees Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned goals for a single unit with multiple customers and products Advanced analytical problem solving skills to determine root cause of issues Proposes and oversees implementation of corrective action Experience 4 - 6 years of Supply Change Management experience Broad based supply chain management and process development knowledge Strong leadership / planning / negotiation / problem solving / delegation and presentation skills PC software knowledge & skills. Strong financial skills Bachelor's degree preferred
