We are a well-established rubber manufacturing company with over 70 years in business and approximately 300 employees. We produce precision rubber components for the medical industry and serve customers worldwide. Our facility includes a significant clean-room manufacturing environment and is committed to quality, innovation, and operational excellence. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead all aspects of our supply chain operations, including purchasing, supplier management, inventory planning, logistics, warehousing, and MRP. This position is a key member of the leadership team and will play a critical role in ensuring material availability, cost control, inventory optimization, and on-time delivery performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain & Inventory Management
  • Lead and optimize MRP planning activities.
  • Maintain accurate product configurations, supplier pricing, lead times, and inventory parameters.
  • Oversee demand forecasting and production planning in partnership with Sales, Operations, and Finance.
  • Manage inventory levels to support production requirements while meeting cash flow objectives.
  • Supervise and mentor purchasing team members. Supplier & Vendor Management
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements.
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead supplier qualification and evaluation processes.
  • Identify and onboard new suppliers, products, and services.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. Leadership & Continuous Improvement
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Lead supply chain improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to support company objectives.
  • Participate in ERP implementation and process optimization projects.
  • Serve as a backup resource for purchasing activities when needed.
Qualifications Required:
  • 10+ years of supply chain, purchasing, or procurement leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience with MRP systems, inventory management, and supplier management.
  • Proven negotiation and vendor relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Post-secondary degree.
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Experience in rubber, liquid silicone rubber (LSR), plastics, medical device, or related manufacturing industries.
  • Knowledge of quality systems such as
ISO 9001, ISO
13485, AS9100, or similar manufacturing standards.
  • Experience participating in ERP implementation or system optimization projects.
Pay:
$90,058.43 - $120,392.95 per year
