Position Overview:

We are looking for a Director of Supply Chain to lead and scale the end-to-end supply chain function at Rise Modular, a fast-growing modular technology company. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for building resilient, cost-efficient supply chains that directly enable our ability to deliver modular projects on time and on budget. You will own procurement, vendor relationships, logistics, manufacturing sourcing, and materials planning — and you'll be a key strategic partner to operations, finance, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Vendor Management o Develop and execute sourcing strategies for materials, components, and subcontracted services critical to modular manufacturing o Build and manage a preferred vendor network, negotiating contracts that optimize cost, quality, and lead times o Establish vendor scorecards and performance management processes to drive accountability and continuous improvement Manufacturing & Material Sourcing o Partner with production and engineering teams to source materials domestic and international suppliers o Evaluate make-vs-buy decisions and identify opportunities to diversify the supply base o Lead RFPs and supplier qualification processes for new product lines or market expansions Logistics & Transportation o Oversee inbound and outbound logistics for all materials including storage o Drive cost reduction initiatives across the freight and logistics spend portfolio Inventory & Materials Planning o Own demand planning and materials requirements processes aligned to the project pipeline o Maintain optimal inventory levels to support production schedules while minimizing carrying costs and waste o Implement and improve ERP tools and workflows to increase visibility and accuracy across the supply chain Preferred skills and experience: 8-12 years of progressive supply chain experience, with at least 3 years in a management role Background in construction, manufacturing, or a similarly project-driven industry strongly preferred; modular or prefab experience is a significant plus Proven track record managing complex vendor relationships and multi-million dollar procurement budgets Strong understanding of logistics for large, heavy, or oversized freight Experience with ERP platforms (Epicor is a plus) Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills — you can work as easily with a project superintendent as with the CFO Data-driven decision-maker who can build compelling business cases and present to executive leadership Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field; APICS CSCP or CPSM certification a plus The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $175,000 (Annually). Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Rise Modular's Total Rewards package for employees.
