This role will manage 500-1,000 truckloads per month, secure capacity at competitive rates, and ensure reliable on-time performance. Key Responsibilities Manage full truckload operations for 500-1000 loads per month. Post loads and source carriers via load boards and direct relationships. Negotiate competitive freight rates while prioritizing reliability. Vet carriers, ensure compliance, and maintain a strong carrier network. Coordinate schedules, appointments, tracking, and issue resolution. Manage documentation (BOLs, etc.) and maintain accurate records. Identify cost savings and process improvements. Qualifications 5-10+ years in freight brokerage or high-volume truckload logistics. Proven experience managing hundreds to 1,000+ loads per month. Strong skills in rate negotiation, carrier relations, and load board management (DAT, Truckstop, etc.). Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); TMS experience a plus. Preferred Amazon/retail distribution or high-volume fulfillment experience. Established carrier network.
