About the job A global manufacturer for commercial, industrial and residential settings is seeking a Materials Manager to lead end-to-end materials management and drive operational performance. This position ensures efficient material flow, optimized inventory levels, and strong cross-functional coordination. (Relocation assistance is available.) About the opportunity Lead shipping, receiving, planning, procurement, and inventory control functions. Develop and continuously improve materials management strategies, policies, procedures, and systems. Oversee procurement, production planning, inventory control, and supply chain coordination. Own key performance metrics including inventory turns, backorders, backlog, cash flow impact, and service levels. Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to support demand planning and new product introductions. Lead, coach, and develop the team. What we are looking for Bachelor's degree 3+ years experience in materials management, supply chain, planning, and/or procurement Experience leading a team and ability to lead in a matrixed environment Strong planning systems experience Excellent communication and data analysis skills Continuous Improvement background
