Job Description:
Position Summary The Senior Supervisor, Planning, Material & Control (PMC) is responsible for leading and optimizing all planning, materials management, and inventory control functions to support manufacturing operations. This role ensures alignment between customer demand, capacity, and material availability while driving on-time delivery and operational efficiency. The position plays a critical role in coordinating cross-functional teams and maintaining optimal inventory levels to support business goals, with a strong focus on quality, sustainability, and continuous improvement. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead and oversee daily operations of planning, material planning, procurement coordination, and inventory control functions Develop and manage planning schedules aligned with customer demand, capacity, and material availability Coordinate material planning, purchasing, and warehouse activities to ensure uninterrupted workflow Monitor raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods inventory to prevent shortages and minimize excess or obsolete stock Analyze demand forecasts, material usage trends, and supplier lead times to optimize planning strategies Track execution against plan; identify risks, escalate issues, and drive timely resolution Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory and material transactions within ERP/MRP systems Oversee inventory control processes, including cycle counts and physical inventory audits, ensuring compliance and accuracy Lead cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Warehouse, and Sales teams to resolve supply chain challenges Establish, monitor, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to planning accuracy, inventory performance, and service levels Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve workflows Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable standards, including ISO 9001 and
ISO 14001
Support internal and external audits and lead corrective actions as needed Lead, coach, and develop PMC team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement Support special projects and other initiatives as assigned by leadership Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum of 5+ years of experience in planning, materials management, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role Experience in solar, electronics, or high-volume manufacturing environments preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong knowledge of planning, inventory control, and procurement best practices Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills Familiarity with ISO 9001 and
ISO 14001
standards Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills (Power BI or similar tools a plus) Proven leadership and team development capabilities Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Understanding of project management, budgeting, and cost control principles Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
