Job Description

Position Summary:
Reporting to the National Inventory Manager, the Inventory Lead is responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory control to ensure accurate stock levels, efficient inventory flow, and timely availability of products. This role manages inventory processes, systems, and reporting while collaborating with purchasing, operations, and sales teams to support business goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee daily inventory operations, including receiving, storage, tracking, and distribution Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure system data integrity Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages, overstock, and obsolete inventory Conduct and manage cycle counts, audits, and physical inventories Analyze inventory data to forecast demand and support purchasing decisions Develop and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices Coordinate with vendors, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and root-cause issues Prepare inventory reports and performance metrics for leadership Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational requirements Train and support staff on inventory processes and systems as needed Experience and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience) Proven experience in inventory management, logistics, or supply chain operations Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency with inventory management software and ERP systems Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Work Environment The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate. Compensation Paid Weekly. Schedule May involve extended hours depending on business needs. Monday through Friday. Location In-Person.
