Job Description

We are looking for a Demand Planning Manager to lead forecasting and planning activities that support reliable supply chain decisions in Western, North Carolina. This role focuses on turning market signals, sales patterns, and customer demand inputs into practical plans that improve alignment across commercial and operational teams. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical ability, sound business judgment, and the confidence to guide cross-functional conversations that strengthen forecast accuracy and planning performance.
Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain demand plans by evaluating historical sales data, customer projections, seasonal patterns, and broader market activity.
  • Create and refine statistical forecasts while incorporating commercial insights from sales and marketing to produce balanced, realistic outlooks.
  • Lead regional sales and operations planning discussions, driving alignment on forecast assumptions, supply considerations, and response plans.
  • Assess the impact of product introductions, lifecycle changes, and market developments to support forward-looking planning decisions.
  • Partner closely with sales, operations, regional supply chain, marketing, and finance teams to connect demand plans with broader business objectives.
  • Track planning metrics and forecast performance, identifying opportunities to improve accuracy, responsiveness, and overall process effectiveness.
  • Recognize potential demand fluctuations such as surges, seasonality, or customer-driven changes and coordinate mitigation actions with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support scenario planning and escalation activities when risks or major forecast shifts could affect operational execution or customer service.
