Shipping Manager

Job Overview The Shipping Manager is responsible for overseeing daily shipping operations to ensure accurate, on-time deliveries while maintaining compliance with internal quality procedures and customer requirements. This role works closely with sales, production, and quality teams to coordinate domestic and international shipments and support efficient shipping operations. Key Responsibilities Manage daily shipping department operations to support customer satisfaction and on-time delivery. Prepare shipping documentation including packing slips, bills of lading, commercial invoices, and export paperwork. Generate Certificates of Conformance (CofC) using product traceability and inspection data. Review required certifications and inspection reports prior to shipment. Coordinate with sales teams to ensure customer delivery requirements are met. Manage increased shipping activity during end-of-month demand periods. Utilize ERP systems (Epicor preferred) to manage inventory, shipments, and customer orders. Respond to customer shipment and tracking inquiries. Resolve shipping discrepancies and transportation-related issues. Maintain accurate finished goods inventory and organized shipping records. Qualifications 3+ years of shipping, logistics, or shipping management experience in manufacturing. Experience with domestic and international shipping processes. Strong computer skills and ERP system experience (Epicor preferred). Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with quality documentation and certifications preferred.

Pay:

$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
