Inventory Control Lead Location:
Edison, NJ 08837
Pay Rate:
$21.50/hr
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Job Summary The Inventory Control Lead is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring inventory movements, and leading daily inventory activities within the warehouse. This role works closely with warehouse operations to ensure inventory accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and support overall productivity. Responsibilities Lead and support daily inventory control operations. Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory records. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies. Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits. Ensure all inventory transactions are entered accurately into the system. Coordinate with warehouse staff regarding inventory issues and adjustments. Review inbound and outbound shipments for inventory accuracy. Train and assist team members on inventory procedures and best practices. Generate inventory reports and communicate findings to management. Maintain a safe and organized work environment. Qualifications Previous inventory control experience required. Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred. Experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Comfortable using inventory management systems and Microsoft Office. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed. Ability to work in a warehouse environment.
