Import / Export Admin Action Staffing Group - 3.6 Newark, NJ Job Details Full-time $20 - $24 an hour 13 hours ago Qualifications Packing Transportation management Organizational skills Warehouse experience Order picking Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a dedicated Import / Export Admin to join our logistics and supply chain team. This role is essential in coordinating international shipments, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in facilitating smooth import and export operations, supporting warehouse distribution, and maintaining accurate records. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and organizational skills are highly valued. Duties Prepare and review all import and export documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and shipping labels, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international regulations. Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to arrange the shipment of goods efficiently. Track shipments using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to monitor progress from dispatch to delivery. Manage shipping & receiving schedules, ensuring timely loading, unloading, and inventory updates within the warehouse management system. Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and stock movements within MRP (Material Requirements Planning) Ensure proper packaging standards are followed to prevent damage during transit and optimize space utilization. Collaborate with internal teams on order fulfillment requirements for e-commerce platforms or bulk distribution channels. Experience Prior experience working in warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, or AS400 is highly desirable. Proven background in shipping & receiving operations within a warehouse environment. Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes including stocking, order picking & packing, and inventory control. Knowledge of import/export procedures, customs regulations, and international shipping documentation. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Previous exposure to e-commerce logistics or supply chain management is a plus. This position is integral to maintaining efficient import/export workflows while supporting overall warehouse operations.
