POSITION SUMMARY
: The Inventory Supervisor is an integral part of the company because we rely on this position to maintain accurate inventories for all clients. The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for the receiving of all inventories and any inventory needs such as transactions, placement, replenishment, and record keeping for all clients. Performance metrics will be measured by company mandated KPI's (Key Performance Indicators).
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position oversees inbound staff, the receiving of inventory, all inventory transactions, and inventory control needs. Essential Functions/Responsibilities of the
Position:
Ensuring that all employees of the Inventory Department are fully trained on all relevant SOPs. Maintaining work pace throughout shift, aisle cleanliness, and pick-ready status of all inventory in a pickable location. Ensure the First Article Inspection is completed on each receive. Receive all client's inventory accurately within 48 hours of delivery. Accurately putting away inventory. Implementing long and short-term inventory plans from the Inventory Manager. Maintain constant contact with the WAM on the status of the inventory, SPs, and receiving. Three daily replenishments as well as any replenishment requests from the outbound team. Cycle counting inventory based on the needs of clients. Investigating inventory discrepancies and reporting any discrepancy over 1% to management. Maintains the put-back inventory and the returns inventory daily to ensure accurate counts are maintained in the system. Inform the WAM of delivered inventory, damages, and issues with SP's. Coordinate the completion of any assigned tasks on the Monday.com inbound board. Assist the fulfillment team when needed. Working with the other Supervisors to coordinate labor for projects. Checking the receiving calendar daily for inbound shipments. Communicating with the WAM on any non-compliance issues. Ensuring FEFO is being utilized for replenishment.
Position Qualifications- EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE
At least 3 (three) years of related warehousing experience is required. 1 (one) year of supervisory experience is required.
SKILLS:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, overall computer familiarity, and ability to learn ShipHero dashboard. Excellent supervisory and people skills. A sense of urgency, self-motivation, multitasking, and goal orientated. Demonstrated ability to identify and solve problems and issues.
