$24.00-$27.00 per hour, depending on experience Position Summary Tecno Display is a small manufacturing business looking for an experienced, hands-on Floor Supervisor to help keep our warehouse, inventory, material flow, receiving, packing, shipping, and production support processes organized and moving on schedule. This is primarily a floor-based warehouse and production support role. The position is approximately 80% hands-on floor/warehouse work and 20% or less office, paperwork, and computer work . This is not a desk job. The Floor Supervisor will report to the Business Manager and will help make sure materials, parts, inventory, and shipments are handled accurately and on time. This person will also help keep production on task, identify problems before they cause delays, and support basic floor-level supervision. Core Responsibilities Oversee receiving, including checking incoming materials, verifying quantities, documenting issues, and helping ensure materials are properly stored or distributed. Maintain organized warehouse layout, inventory locations, parts storage, hardware areas, and material staging areas. Pick parts, hardware, and materials for production jobs and distribute them to the correct work areas. Coordinate material flow to production so jobs have the parts, supplies, and components needed to stay on schedule. Support production staff by helping keep jobs moving, identifying bottlenecks, and communicating issues to management. Assist with keeping production staff on task and supporting basic floor-level accountability. Help identify missing parts, inventory shortages, material issues, shipment problems, or other obstacles that could delay production. Prepare and support small parcel shipments, including packing parts, hardware, samples, or components for shipment by UPS, FedEx, USPS, or similar carriers. Assist with freight shipments, including pallet/crate preparation, weights and dimensions, labels, bills of lading, and shipment documentation. Maintain accurate receiving, inventory, staging, shipping, and production-related documentation. Help maintain a clean, organized, safe, and efficient warehouse and production floor. Communicate clearly with management, production, shipping, and office staff regarding priorities, problems, and deadlines. Requirements Prior experience in warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, manufacturing, material handling, or production support. Experience with receiving, inventory organization, picking parts, staging materials, and supporting production workflow. Experience with small parcel packing, freight shipments, and bills of lading is strongly preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage workflow, prioritize tasks, and keep multiple jobs moving. Ability to identify problems, communicate clearly, and help resolve issues. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Stable, verifiable work history. Comfort with basic computer work, email, data entry, shipping documents, and inventory or production systems. Ability to work independently while also supporting and directing others on the floor. Preferred Qualifications Prior warehouse lead, floor lead, production lead, or supervisor experience. Forklift experience or willingness to be trained. Experience working in a small manufacturing business. Experience with ERP, inventory, production, or shipping software. Experience with LTL freight, bills of lading, pallet/crate preparation, and shipment coordination. Work Environment Active warehouse and manufacturing environment. Hands-on floor position with regular movement throughout the day. Lifting, bending, carrying, staging, packing, and material handling required. Non-climate-controlled environment. No phones or earbuds permitted during work time.
Compensation & Schedule Pay:
$24.00-$27.00 per hour, depending on experience Full-time, on-site position.
Typical schedule:
