Job Description

Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented MRP Administrator specializing in Inventory Control & Accuracy to join our dynamic supply chain team. In this pivotal role, you will manage and optimize inventory data within our Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) systems, ensuring precise stock levels and seamless supply chain operations. Your expertise will drive process improvements, enhance inventory accuracy, and support strategic sourcing initiatives. ResponsibilitiesInventory Transaction Management Record, monitor, and verify all inventory movements within MRP and all inventory systems, including: Receipts Issues Transfers Returns Adjustments Scrap Cycle counts Production transactions Ensure all inventory transactions are entered accurately and in a timely manner. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, transaction errors, and system variances. ERP/MRP System Administration Maintain and administer inventory-related MRP system functions and data. Support system configuration, item master maintenance, inventory locations, units of measure, and transaction workflows. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for inventory transactions and system usage. Assist with ERP upgrades, testing, implementations, and process improvements. Inventory Accuracy & Controls Monitor inventory accuracy metrics and identify trends or root causes of discrepancies. Coordinate and support physical inventories and cycle count programs. Audit transaction history and inventory records to ensure compliance with company policies. Collaborate with warehouse and production personnel to improve inventory discipline and accuracy. Reporting & Analysis Generate inventory reports, transaction audits, variance analyses, and operational KPIs. Support Finance and Operations with inventory reconciliation and month-end reporting. Provide data analysis and recommendations to improve inventory control processes. Cross-Functional Support Train employees on proper inventory transaction procedures and MRP usage. Serve as a liaison between Operations, IT, Production, and Accounting regarding inventory system issues. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management and material flow. Education & Experience Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Information Systems, or related field preferred. 3+ years of experience administering ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Experience with inventory control, warehouse operations, and inventory reporting required. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting tools. Understanding of inventory control principles, BOMs, routings, and material transactions. Additional Skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
