Materials Production Assistant Shift:

First Shift | 8:00 AM•5:00

PM Pay Range:

$22.00-25.00 Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Materials Production Assistant to join our team. This role is designed to support the Materials and Production departments while developing into a long-term leadership opportunity. The current Materials Manager plans to retire within the next two years, and this position is intended to provide training and growth toward ultimately taking over the department. Responsibilities Track and manage production materials and inventory levels Process customer and supplier orders accurately and efficiently Receive incoming orders and maintain organized records Enter and maintain data within Excel spreadsheets and company systems Assist with production scheduling, logistics, and inventory coordination Support daily material flow to ensure smooth production operations Work closely with management to learn department processes and procedures Qualifications Some experience in a materials, purchasing, or related role preferred Exposure to production control, scheduling, logistics, or inventory management Strong Excel skills, including: Creating and developing spreadsheets Formula creation and manipulation Pivot tables and data organization Experience with ERP systems preferred Automotive industry experience is a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Desire to learn and grow into a leadership role Growth Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within materials management and operations leadership. #IND2
