Inventory Control Administrator Reynoldsburg, OH | Onsite | Contract-to-Hire Job Summary MS Companies is partnering with a confidential manufacturing client to identify an Inventory Control Administrator for their Reynoldsburg, Ohio facility. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity supporting a fast-paced operational environment with strong compliance and inventory accuracy standards. The Inventory Control Administrator will support Cycle Count, Inventory Control, Logistics, and CTPAT/Customs activities to ensure departmental objectives are met. This role requires a strong understanding of inventory workflows, ERP processes (QAD preferred), and reconciliation practices. The position executes daily transactions, investigations, reporting, and documentation while providing cross-functional support across departments. Required Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Business or related field OR minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment utilizing ERP systems Experience working with ERP systems (QAD preferred) Strong understanding of inventory control processes and cycle counting Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Strong verbal and written communication skills Analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and leadership levels Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience with QAD Daily Inventory Reconciliation Reports Exposure to CTPAT/Customs documentation and compliance requirements Experience in QMS/EMS environments Knowledge of Corporate Governance and JSOX controls Experience supporting physical inventory audits Day-to-Day Responsibilities Monitor and analyze inventory levels; identify root causes and implement corrective actions Track and manage cycle count activity, investigate discrepancies, and perform system adjustments Utilize QAD reconciliation reports to validate transactional accuracy Approve QAD cycle count "Recount" adjustments prior to final management approval Organize and support physical inventory activities Prepare documentation and reporting for audits and compliance reviews Collaborate with Logistics, Materials, Production, and Quality teams to resolve inventory discrepancies Support CTPAT/Customs-related inventory documentation and verification Maintain and update departmental operating standards and documentation Perform administrative system transactions to ensure data accuracy Provide assistance and training to other departments regarding inventory processes and QAD functionality Physical & Work Environment Combination of office and warehouse/manufacturing environment Standing, walking, and sitting throughout the workday Occasional reaching and lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted Ability to communicate effectively in a dynamic operational setting Training Requirements Completion of required Training Development Curriculum Adherence to Department Training Matrix INDQSS2
