Parts Manager

Function:

The Parts Manager is responsible for ordering parts and tools for the Technical Center and the steel pail plants. Ensures that parts or supplies needed for production are available for employees and other plant locations as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain inventory levels Order parts in advance Administrate and manage Parts Inventory database Sell manufactured parts to clients Source new suppliers for parts and tools Plan promotions on parts that are for sale

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in a relevant field such as manufacturing or the automotive industry Able to read engineering drawings and assemblies Mechanical knowledge Self-starter Attention to detail Strong organizational skills Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel Knowledge of inventory monitoring practices Excellent communication and sales skills Cleveland Steel Container was founded in 1963 to provide customers with a dependable steel pail. Currently, we have four pail plants located strategically throughout the United States to support our customers. At our Streetsboro facility, we have a metal stamping plant to provide component parts for our pails.
