General Function:
Supports the PM and Product Support Manager in total life cycle systems management duties. Assists sustainment teams with logistics data analysis, acquisition management, procurement, and critical asset tracking. Develops and maintains PPSPs, PPTPs, and TPP strategies and execution plans. Applies acquisition logistics expertise across Air Force systems throughout the full program life cycle. Provides knowledge in software development, sustainment, depot avionics testing, and repair activities. Ensures logistics activities comply with DoD, USAF, and local logistics policies and financial requirements. Supports AMARG regeneration activities through supply studies, data collection, and supportability analysis. Coordinates integrated logistics elements including spares, support equipment, training, facilities, technical data, and provisioning. Participates in developing long-term weapon system supportability strategies aligned with acquisition goals. Analyzes DMSMS issues and recommends replacement parts or mitigation strategies. Generates and reviews logistics documentation such as ILSPs, LCSPs, TOs, technical manuals, and work specifications. Develops, validates, and updates logistics and maintenance reporting documentation and management information systems. Supports meetings, PMRs, VTCs, conferences, and provides program status and decision information. Assists with integrated support requirements, readiness planning, life cycle cost analysis, and warranty evaluations. Conducts logistics studies, readiness assessments, trade studies, and total life cycle supportability analyses. Supports development of product support strategies using ILS, PBL, and public-private partnering concepts. Assists with sustainment engineering, maintenance planning, supply support, training, facilities, technical data, and anti-tamper protections. Perform supportability analyses including RAM-C assessments, technical specification reviews, and logistics database evaluations. Supports life cycle cost management, design-to-cost initiatives, operating cost analysis, and business case studies. Assists with acquisition logistics, maintenance integration, manpower planning, supply support, support equipment, technical data management, facilities, transportation, and integrated logistics support execution across all acquisition phases.
Qualifications:
Education/Certifications/Experience/Skills:
MA/MS Degree with 10 years of directly related experience or BA/BS with 12 years of directly related experience or 15 years of directly related experience to this discipline. Must possess and maintain a government security clearance at the Secret level Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft programs (including Excel, Word, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and Project). Must be able to perform all functional duties independently. Must be able to transport self to various facility sites, as required.
