Competitive pay based on experience Job Summary We are hiring a hands-on Contents Restoration Manager / Logistics Manager to lead and grow our contents restoration division in Gearhart, Oregon. This position involves managing the packing, inventory, moving, cleaning, storage, and return of customers' personal belongings after property damage events such as water, fire, smoke, mold, or other restoration-related losses. The role requires strong organization, physical capability, customer service, leadership, and experience using contents inventory software such as iCAT, Contents Manager, or similar contents documentation platforms . This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of a growing division, improve systems, lead field operations, and help build a high-performing contents team. Responsibilities Manage contents pack-outs and pack-backs for residential and commercial restoration projects as well as general logistics for residential and commercial moving. Pack, inventory, load, transport, clean, store, and return customers' personal property. Use iCAT, Contents Manager, or similar software to document, photograph, categorize, track, and manage contents. Use Xactimate for all estimating and invoicing communications. Maintain accurate digital inventories, photos, notes, room-by-room documentation, and job records. Move boxes, furniture, appliances, and other belongings safely and efficiently. Perform and oversee specialized cleaning of contents affected by water, smoke, soot, odor, mold, or other contaminants. Help determine salvageable and non-salvageable items and communicate findings clearly. Organize contents storage, labeling, tracking, cleaning workflow, and quality control. Communicate professionally with customers, team members, adjusters, and insurance-related contacts. Train and lead contents technicians as the division grows. Help create and improve systems for inventory, storage, scheduling, documentation, production, and customer communication. Maintain clean, organized job sites, vehicles, storage areas, and workspaces. Ensure customer belongings are handled with care, respect, and accountability. Requirements Experience using iCAT, Contents Manager, or similar contents inventory/documentation software . Valid driver's license. Ability to lift, carry, push, and move heavy items throughout the workday. Experience with contents handling, restoration, packing, moving, cleaning, warehousing, or similar field work. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation. Professional communication and customer service skills. Ability to lead by example and manage multiple priorities. Comfortable working in homes, businesses, warehouses, and restoration environments. Dependable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently. Willingness to perform hands-on work, including packing, moving, cleaning, inventorying, and organizing. Eager to expand the range of the Coastal Contents team to expand the business footprint. Preferred Experience Previous contents restoration, fire restoration, water restoration, logistics/moving or personal property restoration experience. Experience managing contents jobs from pack-out through pack-back. Previous team lead, supervisor, or management experience. Experience communicating with insurance adjusters, property owners, and restoration project managers. IICRC certifications or willingness to obtain certifications. Experience building or growing a contents division, department, or team. Physical Requirements This is a physically active position. Applicants must be able to lift and move boxes, furniture, and personal property; stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and work on-site for extended periods; load and unload vehicles; and wear personal protective equipment when required. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, physically capable, and experienced in contents restoration documentation. You are comfortable using software such as iCAT or Contents Manager, Xactimate, but you are also willing to be hands-on in the field. You take pride in accurate inventory, careful handling of customer belongings, clear communication, and quality work.
