Logistics Manager A well-established and growing leader in the 4x4 truck rental industry is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Logistics Manager to join our team. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager and plays a critical role in overseeing transportation and logistics operations nationwide. The ideal candidate is highly organized, results-driven, and experienced in transportation coordination, vendor management, process improvement, and team leadership within a fast-paced operational environment. Position Summary The Logistics Manager is responsible for directing, developing, implementing, and maintaining transportation and logistics processes to support company operations and customer satisfaction. This role works closely with leadership and cross-functional departments to ensure efficient fleet movement, timely deliveries and pickups, cost control, and operational excellence. This individual will assist in overseeing the transportation team while helping build scalable processes and systems to support continued company growth. Key Responsibilities Manage transportation and logistics operations for the company's rental fleet nationwide Coordinate delivery and pickup of rental trucks to and from customer job sites Work with transportation vendors to assign loads, schedule shipments, and generate purchase orders Ensure timely and accurate communication with customers regarding transportation schedules and updates Collaborate with the Operations Manager to prioritize deliveries, pickups, and transportation needs Develop and maintain relationships with dependable transportation vendors and partners Monitor transportation costs, service levels, and vendor performance metrics to improve efficiency and reduce operational issues Assist with supervising and supporting transportation department personnel Develop and improve departmental workflows, operational processes, and standard operating procedures Create and maintain reporting tools, KPIs, and operational dashboards to support accountability and decision-making Utilize CRM systems and operational software to support daily operations and reporting Provide leadership with detailed operational reports and performance updates Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies Support large-scale operational projects and initiatives Assist with additional operational duties as assigned
