This employee is tasked with managing inventory across all stores, utilizing inventory software, collaborating with the Warehouse Manager to ensure store needs are being met, traveling to all Born United locations at set intervals each year to evaluate if inventory is optimized and additional responsibilities as outlined below. Employee must exhibit organization, adaptability, excellent communication skills and excitement about Born United's mission. Inventory Management:
Manage inventory across all stores using analytical research and data provided by platforms like Shopify, ShipHero and inventory specific research software. Continuously evaluate/monitor inventory for all stores (wholesale) and E-Commerce to ensure success in sales and optimal supply of product. Daily inventory reviews Identify and execute weekly store inventory needs and transfers. Communicate with store managers on transfer requests. Oversee bianual inventory Implement product transfers and new product size pack dispersement to all store locations. This includes suggesting optimized size packs per brand based on store performance analytics. Communicate priorities with the Warehouse Team, collaborating with the Warehouse Manager to ensure shared understanding of goals. Collaborate with The Warehouse Manager to optimize the ShipHero platform for inventory needs/tracking. Oversee and train staff to utilize ZenDesk platform Develop a Store Inventory Checklist to review when conducting video calls with stores and during in-store visits to be completed on every call
Meetings and Travel:
Conduct weekly video calls with every store manager to evaluate inventory. Conduct weekly video calls or in person meetings with the Warehouse Team to establish goals, priorities, schedules and needs. Attend monthly Operations Meeting bringing any potential changes or suggestions. Bring organized department updates for weekly Corporate Meeting and bi-weekly Manager Meeting. Bi-annual travel to all store location and quarterly visits to semi-local stores (Myrtle Beach, Daytona, Lynchburg, Norfolk, Sevierville and Knoxville). When traveling, visit each store for a minimum of two days and a maximum of four days. When visiting stores, complete a Store Inventory Checklist to ensure all inventory is optimized/the store is set up for success. Evaluate each location's backroom organization and seasonal rotation of product. When traveling, create a location specific store visit checklist approved by ownership with input from all Corporate Departments. Qualifications 2 years experience in retail
