General Packaging Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Remote Inventory Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and smooth operation of our inventory management processes across multiple locations. As a Remote Inventory Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining optimal stock levels, minimizing discrepancies, and supporting the supply chain to meet customer demands. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while contributing to a key function that drives our company's success. Key Objectives Oversee inventory control procedures to maintain accurate stock records. Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to optimize inventory flow. Implement strategies to reduce stock variances and improve inventory accuracy. Leverage data analysis to forecast inventory needs and support decision-making. Responsibilities Manage daily inventory operations including tracking, reporting, and reconciliation. Develop and maintain inventory control policies and procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely replenishment and distribution. Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to identify and resolve discrepancies. Utilize inventory management software to monitor stock levels and generate reports. Analyze inventory trends and recommend improvements to optimize stock turnover. Support the integration of new inventory systems and technologies as needed. Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders to address inventory issues. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years experience in inventory management or related roles. Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
