$65,000 - $90,000 per year About the Opportunity A growing manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, and domestic/international logistics activities. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring materials and finished goods move efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong logistics and distribution experience within a manufacturing environment, proven leadership skills, and a solid understanding of export shipping and trade compliance. Responsibilities Oversee daily inbound and outbound logistics operations, including domestic and international shipments. Lead shipping, receiving, and warehouse teams to ensure efficient and accurate material movement. Coordinate shipments of finished goods, repairs, returns, and customer orders. Resolve freight, shipping, customs, and logistics-related issues. Manage warehouse operations, inventory flow, storage practices, and space utilization. Partner with Supply Chain, Purchasing, Planning, Quality, and Operations teams to support production schedules and customer commitments. Monitor freight performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Ensure compliance with export shipping requirements and trade regulations. Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation. Utilize ERP systems to manage logistics transactions and reporting. Track and report key performance metrics including on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, shipping cycle times, and freight performance. Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. QualificationsRequired Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of logistics, warehouse, or distribution experience within a manufacturing environment. Previous experience managing or supervising a team. Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, freight coordination, and warehouse operations. Knowledge of export shipping requirements and trade compliance fundamentals. Experience working within an ERP/MRP system. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Experience with NetSuite ERP . Experience in aerospace, electronics, or other regulated manufacturing industries. Familiarity with international shipping, RMAs, and repair logistics. Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience. Additional Information Full-time, permanent opportunity. Fully onsite position located in West Warwick, RI.
