Job Description
Job Summary Myrtle Beach Chrysler Jeep is looking for an experienced Parts Manager to join our team. The ideal Parts Manager candidate will play a crucial role in directing daily operations, maintaining inventory control, and ensuring exceptional customer service in a retail environment. This position requires strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a passion for the automotive service industry. Pay for this position will rely heavily on experience.
Duties Financial Management:
Manage the financial performance of the parts departmentTeam Leadership:
Supervise and train parts counter associates. Assist with managing daily operations within the parts department. Conduct meetings with parts personnel to coordinate day-to-day activities. Collaborate with team members to support various dealership functions, including automotive service operations Communicate effectively with employees to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutionsInventory Managment:
Maintain accurate inventory records, pull and fill orders from stock, and coordinate emergency orders for out-of-stock parts. Oversee the coordination of orders for shipment, delivery, or pick-up, and ensure timely follow-up on back-ordered parts and maintain reasonable Special Order parts levelsMarketing:
Market products and services to enhance customer engagement and drive salesOperational Efficiency :
Maintain the cleanliness of counter areas, follow safety procedures, and participate in tracking lost sales to optimize department performance. Utilize retail math to analyze sales data and assist in inventory management. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and assist in restocking as necessaryPhone Skills:
Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries and scheduling appointments Keep itClean:
Organize and maintain the dealership's workspace to ensure a clean and efficient environment Address customer service issues Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employeesExperience Skills:

Stellantis/FCA or General Motors Parts Management Experience running a successfulParts Department DMS Experience:

Surface Transportation of Automotive Hazardous Material Training/Certification or willingness and ability to obtainShow Up:
