Electrical Services & Equipment Position Summary The Warehouse / Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, material flow, and logistics coordination to support field service and operational teams. This role ensures that inventory levels are maintained, materials are readily available, and warehouse processes are efficient, organized, and aligned with company objectives. The Supervisor will lead warehouse personnel, manage inventory systems, coordinate with purchasing and operations teams, and drive continuous improvements in warehouse performance and inventory control. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, issuing, and shipping materials and equipment. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory transactions are properly documented within company systems. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities to support operational demands while minimizing excess stock. Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies. Collaborate with purchasing, service, and operations teams to forecast material requirements and support project planning. Develop and implement inventory control procedures, warehouse standards, and process improvements. Manage warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety compliance. Oversee material handling, storage practices, and equipment utilization. Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse personnel while promoting a culture of accountability and teamwork. Analyze inventory and warehouse performance metrics and provide recommendations for operational improvements. Coordinate deliveries, transfers, and logistics activities to ensure timely material availability. Maintain compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards. Qualifications & Competencies Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory functions, preferably within an industrial, electrical, mechanical, or service-oriented environment. At least two (2) years of experience leading teams, supervising personnel, or coordinating warehouse staff. Comprehensive knowledge of inventory management practices, demand planning, material forecasting, and supply chain processes. Familiarity with generator components, electrical equipment, mechanical parts, or related industrial inventory is highly desirable. Working knowledge of inventory management software, ERP platforms, or service management systems; experience with BuildOps is an advantage. Demonstrated ability to organize complex workflows, analyze inventory data, and resolve operational challenges effectively. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and levels of the organization. Capable of safely lifting and transporting materials weighing up to 75 pounds and performing duties in an active warehouse environment. Possession of a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Preferred Attributes Detail-oriented with a strong focus on inventory accuracy and process consistency.
