Materials Manager

The Materials Manager will lead our organization's material planning, strategic sourcing, and supply chain management activities. This position is key to achieving world-class operating performance. The role focuses on continually improving quality, delivery, and total cost of products and services to assure continued success in the marketplace. Specific Duties Lead material planning activities to assure production of just-in-time material flow Lead and coordinate Supply Chain activities to achieve sustainable world-class performance (On-Time Delivery, Supplier Quality, and Inventory Turns) Serve as Supplier Development and Relationship Manager, implementing vendor qualification processes and monitoring new programs and performance metrics May be assigned special projects by senior leadership as workload permits Required Skills / Experience / Education / Certification Minimum of Bachelor's degree (Technical degree preferred or BBA with technical work experience within the automotive industry) Demonstrated experience within the OEM automotive manufacturing environment desired Extensive experience in material planning/ERP software Program management skills and experience Experience with supplier continuous improvement development and implementation programs Excellent full range of benefits for this role. #INDLOXO
