This role utilizes our trailer network to provide a seamless offering to our customers by maintaining trailer pools. The role also collaborates with planning to make the most cost-effective decisions on what trailers to pull and where to return them. In doing so, we maintain balance and always have an available a trailer for our drivers and our customers.
Position Functions:
Analyze trailer networks Using McLeod, update and communicate trailer locations and return destinations Collaborate with repositions team opportunities and need Collaborate with account management on new awards and exiting business Manage the fulfillment of trailers needed for new business Work with operations to drive data integrity Manage logistics Power only pools Collaborate in-person with all levels of the organization to harness collective intelligence of the workforce. Attend all in-person meetings and trainings on recent developments, goals, and objectives. Participate in such discussions by offering input and advice. Regularly engage remotely and in-person with customers and potential customers to establish rapport, open communication, and expectations.
What We're Looking For:
Education Associate's degree or equivalent required. Equivalent years of experience are defined as one year of professional experience for each year of college requested. Experience 1+ years Operations experience including Customer Service, Fleet Management, or Load Planning required Trailer Management System Exposure is preferred Transportation, Logistics, and/or Tech experience is preferred Skills & Abilities Adept at assessing organizational dynamics and managing change Works quickly and efficiently. Able to test solutions, learn, and iterate quickly Proactive and pragmatic problem solver Communicates effectively across multiple mediums Licenses & Certifications None Supervisory Responsibility None Work Environment / Physical Requirements•Normal office settings.
