Job Description:

Position Overview:

LX Pantos America is seeking an experienced and proactive TN Foreign Logistics Part Leader to oversee daily Freight Forwarding Operations activities within the Tennessee operation. This position will be responsible for supporting import logistics operations, coordinating inland transportation activities, managing operational performance, and leading day-to-day workflow for the Foreign Logistics team. The TN Foreign Logistics Part Leader will serve as a key operational contact between carriers, warehouses, internal departments, customers, and overseas origin teams to ensure accurate and timely shipment execution. This role requires strong operational knowledge, leadership capability, analytical thinking, and the ability to effectively manage priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment. This position plays a critical role in supporting operational stability, process improvement, customer satisfaction, and team development within the Freight Forwarding division.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead daily Foreign Logistics and Freight Forwarding Operations for TN operation Coordinate import shipment activities including booking, documentation review, tracking, and delivery scheduling Oversee inland transportation operations from port to warehouse to ensure service accuracy and on-time performance Act as primary escalation point for operational issues involving carriers, warehouses, customers, and overseas origin teams Support supervision, training, and workflow coordination of Foreign Logistics team members Monitor operational KPIs including transit time, shipment accuracy, claims management, and cost control Prepare and analyze operational reports to identify process gaps and improvement opportunities Collaborate with warehouse operations, transportation providers, customer service teams, and management to support operational objectives Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, customer requirements, and transportation regulations Support process improvement initiatives and assist with implementation of operational standardization Assist management with staffing support, operational planning, and team performance management

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or related field preferred 5+ years of logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, or supply chain operations experience required Previous leadership or supervisory experience Strong understanding of import freight forwarding operations and inland transportation coordination Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite required Experience with ERP, TMS, or WMS platforms preferred Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work in a multicultural environment Bilingual Korean and English proficiency required due to frequent communication with Korea HQ and overseas partners Ability to work independently while effectively managing operational priorities and team coordination
