Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic distribution team as an Inventory Supervisor and take charge of overseeing inventory management and warehouse operations. You will ensure accurate inventory control, streamline warehouse distribution processes, and maintain safety standards—all while supporting a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Responsibilities Lead daily warehouse activities related to inventory management, shipping, receiving, and materials handling to ensure seamless operations. Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on efficiency and safety. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to track inventory levels, process transactions, and generate reports. Implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, reduce waste, and optimize workflow within the distribution center. Oversee forklift operations and ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards during heavy lifting and materials handling tasks. Manage inventory control procedures, including cycle counts, stock audits, and discrepancy resolution to maintain precise stock levels. Collaborate with logistics partners, 3PL providers, and shipping & receiving teams to meet delivery schedules and customer expectations. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse supervision or inventory management within a distribution or logistics environment. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, and materials handling equipment such as forklifts. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for heavy lifting and warehouse safety protocols. Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is a plus. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment. Bachelors Degree is highly preferred but will consider experience as well Experience working in e-commerce or 3PL logistics is desirable.
