Job Description EchoPark Automotive is looking for an Automotive Parts Manager to join our team at our dealership in Nashville, TN. Our Parts Manager will assist the Reconditioning Manager and oversee the Parts department.
What You Will Do:
Oversee the Auto Parts operations for the dealership Interact with the Service Technicians to coordinate parts for vehicle reconditioning Order parts from suppliers based on the Reconditioning Department and Technicians' requests Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are readily available when needed Takes inventory and maintains records of parts received Process parts warranties and parts returns as necessary Maintain stocking levels Provide inventory fulfillment to outlying stores Trigger and execute arbitration and transportation claims Manage wholesale units to include a weekly log for visibility Deliver ongoing quality assurance for on-lot vehicles Reporting when needed and as appropriate
What We're Looking For:
Automotive industry experience Have a general knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations Strong computer knowledge, including spreadsheets, word processing, data entry, and inventory systems Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills required Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow up consistently Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to take ownership of the details, large and small Decision-making that demonstrates good judgment
