Job Description

Job Summary Works collaboratively to convene and align key functional areas to develop forward-looking, integrated plans across recruitment, marketing, collections, business development, and manufacturing. Enables proactive adjustments across the blood supply chain by informing upstream collections planning and downstream manufacturing, inventory, and logistics readiness, while maintaining clear separation from operational execution, allocation authority, and quality decision-making. Works across hospital, clinical (advanced therapies), and research customers. Essential Responsibilities Enterprise demand forecasting and scenario planning - 35% Develops and maintains rolling 7‑day, 30‑day, and 90‑day demand forecasts across all demand streams (Hospital, Research, Clinical (Advanced Therapies)). Cross-functional alignment and meetings - 25% Leads regular demand review discussions focused on insight, alignment, and preparation. Facilitates rapid-response alignment with key stakeholders (Collections, Manufacturing, Inventory, Logistics, Recruitment, and Marketing) to address sudden shifts in demand or inventory levels, ensuring cross-functional clarity on required actions while maintaining separation from operational decision-making. Collections and donor/marketing integration - 15% Partners with the VP Donor & Community Engagement to adjust collection targets, timing, and mix based on forecasted demand. Identifies opportunities, trends, seasonality, and volatility risks. Develops collection volume scenarios to support enterprise readiness. Partners with Marketing leadership to determine optimal campaign timing to address collections gaps. Supply chain readiness (manufacturing, inventory, logistics) - 15% Communicates demand implications to Manufacturing, Inventory, and Logistics to support capacity planning and readiness activities. Maintains demand planning methodologies, assumptions, and data integrity. Executive partnership and strategic insight - 10% Partners with the CEO and Chief Growth Officer to align growth strategies with realistic demand assumptions. Partners with the VP of Blood Supply Chain to synthesize market signals from hospital clients, research partners, and growth initiatives. Identifies emerging demand trends, seasonality, and volatility risks. Develops demand scenarios (baseline, surge, and downside) to support enterprise readiness. Translates demand into collections volume signals to inform donor recruitment and collections planning. Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, analytics, operations management, or a related field from an accredited college or university. Experience 10 years of progressive experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, revenue planning, or a closely related analytical role. Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional planning processes and facilitating alignment among stakeholders. Proven ability to build and interpret forecasts, scenarios, and decision-support models using data from multiple sources. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree. Familiarity with blood banking, healthcare services, life sciences, or related industries.
