The Supply Chain Manager plays a critical leadership role with overall responsibility for shaping and executing the supply chain strategy, overseeing warehouse, fulfillment, and shipping operations, and ensuring the timely, efficient delivery of high-quality products that meet customer OTIF expectations. Serving as the key link between plant operations, customers, and suppliers, this leader will bring deep expertise in supply chain management, ERP and MRP systems, and operational excellence. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership position that partners closely with the Associate Director of Operations, cross-functional teams, and senior leadership to drive performance, improve processes, and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead master scheduling, buyer analysis, order management, production scheduling, customer fulfillment, and inventory management for the Identification Solutions business in Dallas, Texas. Direct the daily and long-term activities of the supply chain, shipping, receiving, and fulfillment teams to ensure effective planning, procurement, and execution against business demand. Partner closely with Global Supply Chain and Commercial teams to analyze market trends, customer demand, and inventory requirements, ensuring optimal stock levels and supply continuity. Collaborate with key stakeholders to review monthly forecasts, sales trends, and marketing initiatives in order to validate demand signals and align supply chain activity. Develop and continuously improve work processes that optimize SAP ERP functionality, including full execution of MRP, MPS, and production scheduling. Apply lean manufacturing principles and capacity planning expertise to support level loading, efficient production flow, and effective inventory management. Develop, standardize, and train teams on work instructions and standard work to strengthen operational consistency and process discipline. Establish goals, performance measures, and accountability frameworks for Planning, Fulfillment, Purchasing, and Inventory Control functions. Define and monitor key performance indicators and benchmarks across supply chain, planning, and customer service operations. Prepare monthly status reports for leadership, including progress against plans, budgets, and operational objectives. Oversee monthly inventory reviews for Questionable Value inventory, ensuring timely escalation of potential variances and risk areas. Set annual performance objectives for team members in alignment with departmental and plant goals. Provide regular coaching, feedback, and development support to employees to strengthen team performance and engagement. Lead, mentor, and develop the logistics team to support both individual growth and organizational effectiveness. Implement robust analytics and reporting tools to track performance trends, identify opportunities, and drive continuous improvement.Leadership Expectations:

Promote a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.Key Competencies:

Proven ability to improve forecast accuracy and support business outcomes through strong planning discipline and forecasting best practices. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, including partnership with procurement, operations, commercial, and leadership teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven decision-making approach. Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI. Experience managing supplier and vendor relationships to support service, quality, and cost objectives. Ability to assess process flows and identify improvement opportunities that drive cost savings, inventory reduction, and operational efficiency. Lean and Six Sigma knowledge, with a continuous improvement mindset. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment in ambiguity, and adapt to changing priorities. Willingness to support emergency situations and work flexible hours as needed. Education Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma required. Bachelor's Degree; preferably in Business, Logistics Management, Manufacturing Operations, Industrial Engineering or related field highly preferred. MBA and/or Apics preferred.Required Experience & Skills:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization. 5+ years of supply chain and logistics experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations. 10+ years of progressive leadership experience, with a proven record of driving organizational performance and delivering results. Strong people leadership and supervisory capabilities, including experience building, coaching, and leading high-performing teams. Extensive hands-on experience with SAP ERP, including a minimum of 5 years leveraging the system to support supply chain operations and decision-making. Deep knowledge of supply chain processes, best practices, and operational excellence principles. Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to build trusted, collaborative relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, customers, and internal partners. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience applying root cause analysis and cause-and-effect methodologies to drive continuous improvement and resolve complex issues.
