In this pivotal role, you will drive efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels by implementing innovative process improvements and leveraging advanced analytics. Your expertise will ensure seamless coordination across procurement, manufacturing, inventory management, and distribution, fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape our supply chain strategies in a fast-paced, global environment committed to innovation and growth. Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and optimize operations for transformer storage and distribution. Manage domestic and international logistics, including transportation of oversized/heavy transformer units. Oversee supply chain activities, including procurement coordination, inventory control, and vendor management. Ensure on-time delivery of transformers to project sites, utilities, and customers. Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and project management teams to align schedules and priorities. Monitor and improve operational efficiency, cost control, and process performance. Manage warehousing, packaging, and handling processes for sensitive electrical equipment. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, transportation laws, and industry standards (e.g., handling of hazardous materials like insulating oil). Lead risk management efforts for logistics challenges such as route planning, customs clearance, and site access constraints. Develop and track KPIs related to delivery performance, cost efficiency, and operational reliability. Implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.). Qualifications Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or related field. 7-12+ years of experience in operations or logistics, preferably in power equipment, heavy manufacturing, or industrial sectors. Proficiency in English required; Mandarin Chinese language skills are a plus. Experience handling oversized cargo, project logistics, or heavy haul transportation. Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, international shipping, compliance standards, and customs regulations. Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams. Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and logistics software. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Supply chain and logistics management. Operational planning and execution.
