Position Summary:
Join Gemco Manufacturing as a Supply Chain & Planning Manager and play a key role in driving purchasing, production planning, supplier coordination, and ERP-based scheduling at our Wylie, Texas facility. This is an opportunity to make a visible impact in a high-precision manufacturing environment serving aerospace, defense, medical, and commercial customers while working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead purchasing activities for raw materials, tooling, and shop supplies to keep production running efficiently.
  • Partner with operations, leadership, and internal teams to align inventory planning, production priorities, and material readiness.
  • Support supplier sourcing, quoting, bid analysis, and vendor performance to strengthen the supply base and control costs.
  • Improve M1 ERP processes, reporting tools, and dashboards to increase visibility and decision-making.
  • Help drive workflow improvements, traceability, and supply chain efficiency across the business.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, logistics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience in supply chain, purchasing, planning, or manufacturing operations.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across teams.
  • ERP and inventory management experience required; M1 ERP experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, medical, or precision manufacturing environments is a plus.
