Supply Chain Lead (Temporary)

Full-time, Monday - Friday Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and proactive Supply Chain Lead for a temporary assignment with a dynamic manufacturing partner in St. George, UT. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day shipping, receiving, and inventory management. You will work closely with purchasing and production teams to maintain accurate inventory levels, streamline warehouse operations, and ensure assembly teams have the materials they need on time. The ideal candidate brings strong ERP experience, a "can-do" team attitude, and a background in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Shipping & Receiving Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods. Oversee all packaging, labeling, and documentation requirements. Collaborate with carriers and freight forwarders to ensure smooth transport and resolve shipping issues. Implement tracking procedures to minimize delivery delays and disruptions. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. Inventory Management Maintain strict inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and prevent stockouts or overstocking. Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies. Oversee the compiling and maintaining of records regarding material quantities, types, and values. Handle kitting and issuing of materials to job orders for the assembly team. Process Optimization Evaluate supply chain processes to increase efficiency, eliminate bottlenecks, and reduce costs. Utilize ERP systems to track trends, manage data, and inform decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement standard operating procedures.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
5+ years of related supply chain or warehouse leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Education:
BS/BA in a related field (Business preferred), or equivalent hands-on experience.
Software:
Strong proficiency with ERP software required ( Microsoft Business Central experience is highly preferred). Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Certifications:
Forklift certification is required.
Language:
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Soft Skills:
A collaborative, team-player mindset with a "can-do" attitude; ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements & Working Conditions This position operates mostly in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment. Requires standing, sitting, moving, and walking for extended periods.
