Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Inventory Control Team Lead is ultimately responsible for the material management of warehouse inventory. Utilizes space management techniques to proficiently position materials for movement to support internal and external customers. Performs regular inventory cycle counts to determine accuracy. Interfaces with the Supply Chain Procurement team to plan and execute an effective warehouse capacity plan.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Performs daily inventory analysis to predict potential inventory discrepancies Responsible for overall inventory accuracy Manages the Inventory Cycle Count program Optimizes movements of materials to meet customer needs Subject matter expert for inventory inquires and dispositions Researches and resolves material discrepancies Monitors material data characteristics, ensuring descriptions, dimensions, and SKUs are accurate Acts as the liaison to Procurement Team for material inventory inquiries Monitors and forecasts Floor Stock Supplies to ensure sufficient on-hand quantities are available Reports monthly inventory accuracy and space utilization Trains and Leads Inventory Team members Ensures that the warehouse inventory is properly placed and organized Identifies and documents Inventory Operations best practices Reports on Key Performance Indicators as assigned by leadership Creates Standard Operating Procedures or Work Instructions relating to inventory management Assists Quality section in assessing and controlling aging inventory Performs other duties as assigned as part of the
Logistics and Warehouse Leadership Team Job Requirements:
A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment Leadership and Team building experience Able to lead, direct, and provide constructive feedback to team members Ability to manage effective work schedules Analytical mind with strong attention to detail skills Proficient in the operation of ERP programs to support Inventory Management and Warehouse Management systems Proficient in MS Office Suite programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds and walk/stand for majority of shift Adept and effective at record keeping Understand and abide by c
GMP 21 CFR
Part 111. Forklift certified (or able to attain certification) High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience sufficient to: Proficiently read, speak and write English to meet FDA requirements for record keeping and inventory and warehouse purposes. Perform basic mathematical calculations—add, subtract multiply, divide, percentages.
