Job Description

Ready to Lead? Adecco is Hiring an Inventory Supervisor! We're seeking a hands-on Inventory Supervisor to lead stockroom, inventory, and material flow operations at our Salt Lake facility. Reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager, this role plays a critical part in keeping production running smoothly by ensuring the right materials electronic components, wire, and cable are available when needed. What You'll Do Partner with
Purchasing:
Work closely with the Purchasing Manager to align inventory levels with demand, proactively identify shortages, and support supplier lead time optimization.
Drive Inventory Accuracy:
Lead cycle counts, physical inventories, and discrepancy resolution with a strong focus on root-cause analysis.
Oversee Material Flow:
Manage receiving, storage, and issuance of components and materials to support production and work orders.
ERP & BOM
Management:
Maintain accurate data in Made2Manage (M2M), ensuring precise BOM tracking and material allocation.
Lead & Develop Team:
Supervise and coach stockroom personnel, set daily priorities, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Optimize Workflows:
Improve stockroom layout and processes to support efficient kitting, lean manufacturing, and streamlined production flow.
Manage Scrap & Excess:
Track obsolete materials and ensure accurate inventory valuation.
Ensure Safety & Compliance:
Maintain OSHA standards and a clean, organized, and safe work environment. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred 3-5 years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing or stockroom setting At least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and process improvement Experience with ERP systems (Made2Manage preferred)
Pay Details:
$21.00 to $23.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
