Terminal Manager - Transportation & Logistics

What You'll Do:

Leadership & Operations Lead the

Front Line:

Provide daily leadership for your driver pool, fostering a culture of accountability and respect. You will actively support driver retention initiatives and recognition programs to build a dedicated local team.

Champion Safety & DOT Compliance:

Maintain rigorous adherence to all DOT standards and safety regulations. You'll be the primary architect of our local safety culture, ensuring every driver gets home safely through consistent training and oversight.

Optimize Fleet Routing:

Manage day-to-day dispatching and equipment utilization to ensure we consistently meet and exceed our critical delivery windows.

Drive KPI Performance:

Monitor key performance indicators, analyze local market trends, and use operational data to streamline dispatch, reduce downtime, and improve overall terminal ROI.

Build Strategic Partnerships:

Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with terminal operators, grocery/dairy clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless Dairy-to-Store destination transitions.

Who You Are:

Skills & Experience A Logistics Veteran:

You have a proven track record in transportation management, with a specific understanding of the fast-paced, high-demand nature of grocery and dairy logistics.

A Master Communicator:

You can talk shop with CDL drivers on the yard and present strategic operational updates to the executive team with equal ease.

A Proactive Problem Solver:

You don't crack under pressure. When a truck breaks down or a schedule shifts, you find the solution before the client even realizes there's a delay.

Tech-Savvy:

You are highly proficient with fleet management software, Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and data analysis using Microsoft Excel.
