Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary :
SEACORP is seeking a Logistics Manager to support the Navy's navigation suite by overseeing the planning, coordination, and management of the supply chain, ensuring efficient storage, transportation and delivery of goods.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Develop and implement strategies to optimize transportation, distribution and overall supply chain efficiency, including selecting carriers and shipping routes based on cost, reliability and delivery time. Monitor inventory levels, manage warehouse operations and ensure goods are stored and dispatched correctly, checking for accuracy and damage. Source carriers and suppliers, negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships to ensure cost effective and reliable logistics services. Ensure all shipping, labeling, packaging and documentation meet health, safety, labor and regulatory standards, particularly for import/export activities. Lead, mentor and train logistics staff, fostering a productive work environment and ensuring employees are equipped to handle operations efficiently. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency, implementing corrective actions to improve operations. Troubleshoot issues in shipping or delivery processes to prevent delays and maintain service quality.
Qualifications:
Education:
Master's Degree required.
Experience :
10 years of experience. As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S.
