Job Description

Prairie Ridge Health is looking for a team member to join our Materials Management Department in the role of Materials Management Receiving Technician. This position is a 0.5 (20 hours per week) various days Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4:30PM. This position is responsible for receiving, inspecting, verifying, and accepting or rejecting supplies.....
POSITION SUMMARY
Functions as a receiving technician, and is responsible for receiving, inspecting, verifying, and accepting or rejecting supplies delivered to the hospital on a daily basis. Verifies all documentation, including packing slips, bills of lading, receiving reports, and compares to purchase orders. Updates receipt of supply items in computer database. As a Materials Management Tech, deliver supplies and equipment to patient care areas efficiently, accurately, and punctually and ultimately returns them for reprocessing or disposal. Maintains adequate supply levels on all patient care areas as directed by protocol. Generates a daily restocking report and returns supplies to respective departments. Collects used equipment and soiled instruments for cleaning, sterilization and packaging. Assists with physical counts of inventory and equipment on a periodic basis.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION
High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of medical/surgical supplies preferred. Computer experience required. Multiview knowledge preferred .

Shift:
In between the hours of 7:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday
