On behalf of our Manufacturing client, Procom is searching for an Associate Supply Chain Manager for a 12-month contract. This position is onsite at our client's Sturtevant, Wisconsin office. Associate Supply Chain Manager -
Job Description:
The Associate Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for managing inventory levels for raw materials, components, and chemicals used in finished goods produced by contract manufacturers. This role will plan and monitor supply to ensure adequate finished goods inventory, minimize backorders, and maintain inventory levels aligned with business objectives. Associate Supply Chain Manager -
Responsibilities:
  • Manage inventory of raw materials, components, and chemicals used in finished goods manufacturing.
  • Plan supply and replenishment to ensure sufficient finished goods inventory is available to meet customer demand.
  • Review material availability, supplier lead times, customer demand, inventory carrying costs, and replenishment needs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and support planning decisions to minimize backorders on released products.
  • Build and maintain inventory levels in alignment with management objectives and business requirements.
  • Analyze material usage, demand trends, and supply risk to determine appropriate safety stock levels.
  • Coordinate with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support supply continuity.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Production, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Finance, Quality, R D, and Engineering teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve planning processes, inventory accuracy, and supply chain efficiency.
  • Support reporting, analysis, and communication related to inventory status, supply constraints, and replenishment plans.
Associate Supply Chain Manager -
Mandatory Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or Associate degree in Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, supplier management, demand planning, supply planning, or a related area.
  • Experience working with suppliers and supporting inventory or replenishment activities.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and common business software applications.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
Associate Supply Chain Manager -
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Experience supporting contract manufacturing environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess material needs, inventory levels, and supply risks.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and manage competing deadlines.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, Finance, Quality, and R D.
  • Experience coordinating activities across multiple departments or disciplines.
