At Novonesis, our Inventory Control team plays a critical role in ensuring accurate inventory records, efficient material flow, and seamless operational support across the facility. As an Inventory Control Supervisor in our Wausau, WI plant, you will lead a team focused on maintaining inventory integrity while partnering closely with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Procurement, Finance, Shipping, Receiving, and Quality. Together, you will help ensure production runs smoothly and support our broader mission of delivering sustainable biological solutions to the world. The Role & Your Impact In this role, you will combine leadership, operational expertise, and collaboration to drive inventory accuracy and material availability. You will play a vital role in ensuring efficient warehouse control processes and supporting production requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
Partnering cross-functionally with Production, Shipping, Receiving, Procurement, Finance, and Quality to ensure inventory accuracy and material availability Leading and supporting Material Handlers across multiple shifts, ensuring seamless inventory control operations Driving inventory cycle counting activities in collaboration with Finance Supervising inventory transactions, audits, and warehouse control processes Supporting continuous improvement efforts to enhance inventory management practices What You'll Need to Be Successful To succeed in this role, you should bring a strong foundation in inventory control and leadership within a warehouse or manufacturing environment: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain environments Working knowledge of inventory management systems and principles Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn ERP systems (SAP preferred) Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles (including straight truck) Forklift experience Additional Skills & Interests We Value Continuous improvement mindset and ability to identify process gaps Experience supporting audits, cycle counting, or financial inventory processes Knowledge of Sanitary Transportation Regulations Demonstrated leadership and collaboration across diverse teams Experience working in cross-functional manufacturing environments What We Offer At Novonesis, you'll be part of a collaborative and purpose-driven organization where your work makes a real impact.

Working Conditions Schedule:
Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM-3:30 PM; Friday 6:00 AM-12:00 PM Work setup: On-site at the Wausau, WI plant
Flexibility:
Occasional weekend calls may be required due to production support Operational support: May fill in as a Material Handler (
