This role involves leading moving crews, operating various types of trucks, loading/unloading household goods into trucks, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in moving services and/or delivery driving, with experience handling heavy lifting and operating commercial vehicles. This position offers an opportunity to lead a team while ensuring timely and safe deliveries for our clients. Responsibilities Lead moving crews during residential or commercial relocations, ensuring safety and efficiency throughout the process Operate box trucks, pick up truck towing trailers, and other commercial vehicles, including manual transmission models, adhering to all safety regulations Load and unload items using standard moving equipment, or manual lifting techniques, managing heavy or bulky items with care Plan and follow route driving schedules to meet delivery deadlines while optimizing travel efficiency Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns professionally Assist with route planning, load securing, and ensuring all items are transported safely and securely Maintain cleanliness and routine inspection of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance Support business operations as needed, including inventory management and equipment handling Skills Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or moving operations with a focus on route driving, with a clean driving history and valid drivers license Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients during pickups and deliveries Ability to operate box trucks and pick up trucks towing trailers, safely and efficiently Experience with heavy lifting, loading/unloading cargo, and managing physically demanding tasks Excellent organizational skills for route planning and load management Ability to work independently or lead a team effectively in fast-paced environments This role is vital for ensuring smooth moving operations while providing top-tier customer service. Candidates should be dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of handling physically demanding tasks associated with moving logistics.
