EMERALD TEXTILES
Route Supervisor The Service Supervisor is responsible for assisting the operations by managing the daily customer orders and providing administrative support to the Service Manager. Additional key focus of this position is to aid Customer contacts regarding issues with deliveries, inventory requirements and service request follow up. Assist with managing the drivers that will be stationed out of that location. Run routes as needed for coverage.
Prerequisites/Knowledge and Skills Required:
Professionalism in interacting with all levels of organization. Strong writing, communication and phone skills. CDL A required Superior organizational skills. Proficiency in database management, Linen Master, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to communicate and work well with Customer Contacts, Supervisors, co-workers and subordinates in a polite and courteous manner Ability to operate all standard office equipment. Must be computer literate Good attendance and punctuality Self-motivated At least 2 years' experience in similar position (preferred) High School Diploma (Preferred)
Summary of Position/Responsibilities and Job Duties:
Manage all customer orders, data entry and adjustments o Receive, qualify and input par sheet orders received from RSRs Responsible for receiving client calls into the office to assist with all operations of client services; linen ordering and/or questions and concerns. Facilitate excellent customer service as a liaison between Customers, Account Executives, and Operations. Assist with Linen Master account set-up, changes and corrections Provide occasional support to plant management with Linen Master needs. Oversee special handling process and documentation
Physical Demands:
Frequently bending, stooping, carrying and lifting to 50 pounds, grasping/gripping, walking, climbing, reaching overhead, twisting/turning. Repetitive use of hands and fingers. While performing the duties the employee is sitting at an office desk But will also be required to stand and walk the plant for extended periods of time frequently required to use fine manipulation and simple grasping in order to utilize the computer and other standard office equipment such as telephone, fax machines, copiers, etc.
Note:
May have to run route when needed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Employee works in an office environment with a moderate amount of noise and activity. The work environment is fast paced and demanding. Workweeks exceeding 40 hours are required as necessary.
