Transportation Salary Details:
Classified Management Salary Schedule Placement @ Row 23, Range A-F Excellent Benefits Package Under the direction of the assigned supervisor, the Coordinator directs, manages, supervises, plans, and oversees activities and operations in their assigned department as directed; may supervise direct reports; and provides responsible and complex administrative support to the assigned supervisor. Assistants in the administrator and supervisor of the transportation program and staff; plans bus routes, stops and schedules; coordinates transportation services for field trips, athletic events; dispatches drivers; evaluates assigned staff; prepares a variety of payroll and miscellaneous reports.Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a school bus driver, driving instructor, office manager of transportation services, or a related field, including two years of supervisory experience. Required Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, and/orTesting:
- Valid California Driver's License (Class B or higher)
- Valid Minimum Liability Car Insurance
- Passenger/School Bus Driver Endorsement (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Valid School Bus Driver Certificate (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate
- TB Test Clearance
- Current First Aid Certificate acceptable to CA Highway Patrol (ability to obtain within 6 months of employment)
- Air Brake Endorsement
