Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, employee purchase programs and more Job Summary Adecco Permanent Recruitment is partnered with a well-establishedpany in the food distribution industry to help them hire a Transportation Manager for their Branford, Connecticut facility. This leadership role oversees daily transportation operations, driver management, and regulatorypliance for a regional distribution center that supports customers across southern New England. The Transportation Manager plays a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable deliveries while maintainingpliance with transportation safety regulations. This position works closely with warehouse operations, dispatch teams, and fleet management to maintain smooth daily logistics operations. Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily transportation operations including routing, dispatch coordination, and delivery execution
• Supervise delivery drivers and maintain high standards for safety, accountability, and operational performance
• Ensure fullpliance with DOT regulations and FMCSR transportation safety requirements
• Maintain and update MCS-150
• Coordinate closely with warehouse operations to align loading schedules with delivery routes
• Collaborate with fleet management to address equipment issues and maintain operational continuity
• Recruit, screen, and onboard delivery drivers as needed
• Investigate incidents and reinforce safe driving practices through training and coaching
• Serve as the primary operational contact for transportation issues during delivery operations Qualifications and Must-Haves
• 2 to 5+ years of transportation or logistics management experience
• Experience managing internal delivery fleets andpany drivers
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and FMCSRpliance requirements
• Experience with dispatching, route planning, and transportation logistics operations
• Ability to lead drivers and enforce transportation safety standards
• Experience recruiting and onboarding drivers preferred
• Strong operational problem solving and leadership skills in a fast paced logistics environment

Pay Details:
